As the Assistant Office Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our retail store's operations and providing support to the Office Manager and executive team.
You will be responsible for managing staff, overseeing administrative tasks, and ensuring efficient operation of the office.
Hourly role with overtime option.
Salary range depends on experience and OT, but ranges between 40-55k+.
Previous experience in office management or an administrative role required, preferably in a retail environment.
Candidates with convenience store experience will be prioritized over other applicants due to experience fit.
Candidate must have experience managing a small staff of 5-8+.
Key
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support office staff, including administrative assistants, receptionists, and other office personnel.
Assist in coordinating and overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and place orders as needed.
Maintain organized filing systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required by management.
Collaborate with the Office Manager to implement and enforce office policies and procedures.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
Oversee maintenance of office equipment and facilities, coordinating repairs and upgrades as necessary.
Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating office staff.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among office staff.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
