00 an hour We are seeking seasonal Lifeguards for the beautiful Hurricane Golf & Country Club! The primary responsibility for the Lifeguard is maintaining a safe environment for our swimmers.
The duties of this role will include warning swimmers of improper or dangerous activities, enforcing pool regulations, administering CPR/first aid in the event of emergencies, and rescuing swimmers in distress or danger of drowning.
Available roles are full-time and part-time seasonal.
Responsibilities Supervise pool area and swimming activities to ensure safety Enforce pool rules and regulations in a personable and professional manner Recognize and respond to emergency situations Administer first aid, CPR, and/or artificial respiration in the event of an emergency Rescue swimmers in distress or at risk of drowning Perform related duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Lifeguard Certification (Required) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in an outdoor environment All applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug screening, and must have a valid driver's license.
