Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain relationships with members of the community who can provide quality leads
+ Originate and process loans following underwriting requirements of the bank
+ Provide excellent consultation to customers on loan options, rates and other bank products ? referring leads to others within the bank as necessary
+ At least 3 years? experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer
+ Established professional relationships with the real estate community, builders and other influencers
+ Exceptional customer service and communication skills
+ Attention to detail ? you maintain accurate credit and loan files and follow through in all aspects of the job
+ Sales ability ? you know how to market and promote loan products by utilizing a variety of tools and techniques
+ Proven track record of ethical behavior
Education and Experience
+ Bachelor?s degree from an accredited university and 3-5 years experience in Mortgage Lending, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
